Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, you must:

You must also meet one of the following criteria:

  1. You were born in Ireland to at least one Irish parent.
  2. You were born in Ireland to non-Irish parents who had lived for at least four years in Ireland before your birth.
  3. You were born outside Ireland, but one of your parents was born in Ireland.
  4. You were born outside Ireland, but at least one grandparent was born in Ireland.
  5. You, your parents, and your grandparents were born outside Ireland, but at least one great-grandparent was born in Ireland.

  • Passport Photos – Recent and compliant with regulations.
  • Copy of Passport – Photocopy of valid identification.
  • Original Birth Certificate – Yours and relevant ancestors'.
  • Original Marriage Certificate – If applicable.
