General Requirements for the Colombia Digital Nomad Visa

1. Copy of your passport
2. Entry stamp into or exit stamp out of Colombia
3. Letter from foreign company
4. Apostilled criminal clearance from your home country
5. Letter stating reason for the visa
6. Proof of financial means (approx $1,000 USD for past 3 months)
7. Health insurance valid in Colombia

Notes

1. The application process typically takes 30 days… plan accordingly.
2. You must apply for your cedula  (Colombian foreign ID) within 30 days of your visa approval.
3. Does not include government fees of approximately $300 USD
4. You will become a tax resident if you spend more than 183 days per year in Colombia.
5. You must spend a minimum of 180 days per year in Colombia to renew this visa.
