About the Service

The Argentinian Rentista Visa grants legal residency in Argentina to individuals who can demonstrate a stable monthly income of at least $2,000 USD from a guaranteed source, such as investments in foreign banks or companies.

This visa is initially issued for one year and can be renewed annually for up to three years. After holding the visa for two years, applicants become eligible to apply for Argentinian citizenship, while permanent residency can be pursued after three years.

Rentista Visa holders may establish a business or work as self-employed individuals in Argentina but are not permitted to be employed by an Argentinian company.

  2. Apply for your Rentista Visa
  3. Attend in person interview in Argentina
  4. Apply for and receive your DNI (Argentinian ID card)

General Requirements for the Argentina Rentista Visa

  1. Copy of your passport
  2. Entry stamp into Argentina
  3. Criminal record clearance
  4. Birth certificate
  5. Proof of financial means (approx $2,000 USD for past 3 months)
  6. Statement of source of funds
  7. Certificado de domicilio

Notes

  1. The application process typically takes 90 days… plan accordingly.
  2. You must apply for your certificado de domicilio in Argentina.
  3. It is possible to leave Argentina while waiting for your visa interview appointment.
  4. You will become a tax resident if you spend more than 183 days per year in Argentina.
  5. No minimum stay requirement

  • Permanent residence is permanent but you will still need to renew your DNI.
  • No minimum stay requirement.
